Loads the video from YouTubeA 200 BPM hi-tech psytrance track built around one found spoken-word recording: an esoteric phone call about quantum energy. The best lines are cut out word by word, placed as full sentences and then glitched, stuttered, reversed, pitched and used as percussion.
There’s no synthesizer and no sample pack in it. Together with Claude I built a Python project that generates every single sound: the kick, a physically modelled plucked-string bass, the pads, the acid lines, the glitches. Then I turned the Python code into a REAPER project that produces exactly the same sound.
The video does to the speaker’s face what the track does to his voice: every stutter, reverse and pitch jump is cut in sync.
Over the top and humorous, but properly produced and loud.
